Awards come and go, but trusted client relationships are here to stay

In 2025, Netland Computers once again secured 1st place in the Prahova Top Companies Awards, in the category “Retail of computers, peripheral units, and software”, Microenterprise section.
It’s an award that honors us — but more importantly, it motivates us to keep moving forward with even more determination.

Geanina Vlăsceanu, a key figure in Netland’s development, also received the “Businesswoman of the Year” award — a distinction offered by the Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry to women in top leadership positions within high-performing companies.

We recently sat down for a chat with Geanina, on a sunny autumn morning, somewhere between a client call and a meeting at a partner’s office.

Interviewer (I): Good morning, Geanina! Congratulations on the awards! What does this double success mean to you and Netland?

Geanina (G): Good morning! Thank you for the kind words. As much as we’re thrilled by these awards — and they definitely give us a confidence boost — what matters most to us is what stays after the applause: the strong relationships we’ve built, the projects we’ve delivered successfully, and the trust of our clients. The award confirms we’ve done things right. But I’m happiest knowing we have people who call us, recommend us, and keep coming back because “you get things done.”

I: Netland has been at the top for several years now. What made this year different?

G: I think this year we’ve grown on multiple levels. We’ve worked more with larger clients, implemented increasingly complex projects, strengthened our team — all while staying true to our core values. Yes, we’re a tech company. But a very human one. With people who care, who respond, who explain, and who truly stand by the client. I believe that’s what keeps us on top — more than any spreadsheet or balance sheet.

I: The “Businesswoman of the Year” award — how did that feel?

G: With a smile, and a touch of emotion. I wasn’t expecting it — and it’s not just about me. It’s about the team that’s had my back all along. About all the years we’ve rolled up our sleeves — from planning and consulting to delivery and support. This award belongs to all of us at Netland. And honestly, I owe it to our clients too — the ones who challenged us with bigger, bolder projects and believed we could deliver.

I: What does the future look like for Netland?

G: Structured, digital, and focused on real client needs. We don’t just sell technology — we provide complex, tailored solutions that help business owners sleep well at night knowing their infrastructure is connected, secure, and up to date. We aim to grow with purpose — without losing what defines us. We want to add that little “wow” in every client interaction. If we manage that consistently, we’ll be on the podium again next year. 😊

I: One last message for Netland’s clients and partners?

G: At Netland, awards come as a result — not a goal. What we truly strive for, every single day, is to be the partner you can count on. And when public recognition comes along — for the team and for leadership — all we can say is: thank you! And I don’t say that to check a box. I truly mean it — because it’s thanks to you that we stay sharp, responsive, and motivated.
