Extending our Hands for Education

At the end of last year, we revived our tradition of getting involved in projects related to youth and education through donations. This time, we didn’t stop at just one, but supported three initiatives. Each donation was designed to leave a lasting impact and bring hope to the lives of young people in need of support.

1. Scholarship for Education: Investing in the Future

The first project, “Scholarship for Education”, is a partnership with the Veritas for People Association. The idea is simple yet powerful: a student with limited financial resources receives a monthly monetary aid to cover basic needs. Often, this represents an unexpected chance for young people struggling to stay in school, even under the harshest conditions.

It’s also a way of saying, “We see you. We believe in you.” For many, this support can mean the difference between dropping out of school and achieving a grand dream. Our belief: education changes individual lives and elevates entire communities.

2. Letters to Santa Claus: The Joy of Giving

The second initiative is actually a continuation of a heartfelt project – supporting the Concordia Humanitarian Organization. This time, Netland played the role of Santa Claus’s mailbox. In other words, the youth from Concordia Center in Ariceștii Rahtivani expressed their wishes for gifts, and we… made them come true. It was our way of joining the organization’s effort, which is dedicated to helping children, young people, and families in need lead independent and responsible lives.

Concordia is much more than a center; it’s a place where young people in difficulty receive the chance for a better life. Through continuous support, the organization provides children with a solid foundation to become independent adults. And in December, Netland brought extra joy, turning wishes written on paper into real smiles.

3. A Home for Children: Stars that Shine

The third sponsorship went to the “Cradle Held by Stars” shelter, where the Turnu Foundation cares for 18 vulnerable children. The three family-style homes near Târgușorul Vechi are places where children receive a home, learning support, skill workshops and courses, access to their own sports field, and most importantly, guidance and warmth.

Here, our donation contributes to a safe environment with many opportunities for the children. When education and love go hand in hand, the results are extraordinary.

Why Do We Donate to Education?

Investing in education is one of the most reliable paths to a better future. Every child who stays in school has the chance to contribute to a stronger, more prosperous society. Statistics show that every additional year of education increases an individual’s future income by up to 10% and significantly reduces the community’s risk of poverty.

But the impact isn’t just economic. An educated society is one that knows how to communicate, solve problems, and create innovations that change lives. In other words, when we invest in young people, we invest in a future full of opportunities.

How Can You Get Involved Too?

We aim to inspire other companies or individuals to join these initiatives. It doesn’t have to be a large donation – every small gesture counts. You can support a child to stay in school, donate to a center, or even offer your time as a volunteer.

We tried to show that businesses can be more than just engines of the economy – they can be catalysts for good in the community. Through each project, we helped young people follow their dreams and proved that the world can become a better place when we care about each other. And that’s a thought worth carrying into every new year!
