Initial situation:
The IT infrastructure of the factory in Ploiești was managed remotely until 2019, by French specialists, working in partnership with factory employees, technical managers without specialization in information and communication technology. While work volume constantly increased, the company had to start collaborating with local specialists, able to assist and quickly intervene when necessary.
Progress:
The collaboration started in early 2019, when Netland Computers took over the maintenance, service and development of the existing IT infrastructure. Thus, depending on the needs, we provide the necessary hardware solutions for the proper functioning of the infrastructure, dealing with the entire process, from design to installation, configuration and maintenance. Likewise, on the software side, we ensure maintenance of Microsoft products, owned by the global contract of Flexitech.
Netland Computers responds on demand, whenever problems arise in the IT infrastructure or when it must be improved by installing new equipment, including through operational leasing. But at the same time we ensure preventive maintenance, taking care that the infrastructure operates within the established parameters and thus reducing the risk of defects or interruptions.
Remote collaboration with French partners requires compliance with the standards and models applied in all 8 production and assembly facilities around the world. The level of access granted to Netland specialists implies a high degree of responsibility. In addition, interventions must be rapid, as any problems or interruptions would have serious implications for the production process.
