Jungheinrich Romania is part of the Jungheinrich AG group and owns locations in Ploiești West Park – Ariceștii Rahtivani, Gilău (Cluj) and Brașov (Business Services Center).

Existing situation:
In September 2022, Jungheinrich Romania moved its headquarters to Ploiești West Park (PWP) and for the new location it needed the design, installation and commissioning of an IT infrastructure to ensure the performance of operational activity in the best conditions.
Unfolding:
The collaboration started in 2021, after Netland became a partner for IT services following an elaborate process of selection and confirmation of requirements, initiated by Jungheinrich Romania. Proximity was an advantage, as Netland could thus offer, in addition to the necessary equipment, continuity of services as well as, if necessary, speed in interventions.
The initial stage of the collaboration involved analyzing the needs and gathering information related to the workspaces (production/repairs, offices, showroom) and the specific IT requirements for each area. Next came the design of the IT infrastructure to optimally serve all the processes. It involved structured cabling for voice and data networks, access control and video surveillance, in an infrastructure with more than 200 network ports.
During the unfolding of the project challenges also came from the need to coordinate the cabling works with the construction works, which had to be carried out in parallel. Thus, an extra effort was needed for the Netland team to be present at every key moment and to carry out the work within the allotted time frames so as to fit into the overall project development, which lasted several months.
Taking into account the size of the project, in terms of the extent of the premises to be served and the high volume of work, Netland Computers deployed a consistent team of specialists to pay the necessary attention to all the details, from the server room to the most remote point of access and control. Through the correct, orderly and efficient installation of cables, connectors and related equipment, we insured the reduction of installation times in case of future expansions and the decrease of the chances of human errors or defects, all with a positive influence in saving resources, time and money.
The collaboration expanded with the installation of access control and video surveillance equipment at the Jungheinrich headquarters in Brașov Business Services Center. Netland Computers also provided, for all the company’s premises in Romania, the necessary IT infrastructure equipment (e.g. portable computers and monitors) according to the standards required by Jungheinrich AG.

Jungheinrich Romania and Netland Computers will continue to collaborate to ensure maintenance, technical support and possible service interventions for all installed equipment, but also for future upgrade or expansion processes.
